Loss leaves you lonely, hurting, and lacking direction.

Change is loss. When a relationship ends, we lose not only a partner, but shared dreams, common goals, plans we had for ourselves. When anxiety strikes, we lose a sense of control over our circumstances. When family members grow and transition to different stages of life, roles change and again we face loss.

Where do we go from here?

Acknowledging what has been lost, we have the choice to feel shame and guilt about our reaction, or practice compassion with ourselves. From a compassionate place, it is possible to practice self-love while searching for the new possibilities this transition is offering you.

Hope is just around the corner.

Therapy is the choice to join in the life-changing work of re-writing your story. Practicing from a place of non-judgment, unconditional support, and a genuine belief that you possess intrinsic value and worthiness as a unique member of the human family, it is my privilege to come alongside you in this work.

The chapters before this moment have already been written, but the pages ahead are blank and full of possibility. Let’s fill them with color, together.

If you’re ready to get started, I offer a free 20-minute phone consultation.

Hi there, I’m Courtney.

If you’ve found your way here today, I want to remind you that your story is the most precious thing you own.

Every major life transition is accompanied by loss, whether you’re losing someone you love, a relationship, a job, or a sense of normalcy amidst this global pandemic.

You’re not alone. I’d love to come alongside you and discuss the possibility of filling the next chapter of your story with hope. My job is a privilege because I get to witness hundreds of people, like you, walk into my office in tears and out of my office with a fresh perspective, a hopeful disposition, and a smile. Whether it’s the right time for therapy, I am privileged to hear your story and see how I can help.

Give me a call today at (754) 300-6232 for a free phone consultation.
